Parents Corner

Connect with other parents, tell us your story, get involved and dive a little deeper into advocating for your child with IDD.

Programs created with families in mind

  • Coffee with the Council is our caregiver and community support group. It is open to parents, guardians, siblings and extended family members of a child or adult with an intellectual or developmental disability who would like to have a conversation in a relaxing environment. We also welcome anyone from the community who is interested in learning about what the Council does and how they might support a person with an intellectual or developmental disability.

  • The Council believes it is our duty to amplify the voices of the IDD community. We are now hosting quarterly self-advocacy seminars for individuals with IDD to share their own stories.

  • The Council is constantly developing programs to meet the needs of our community. We will update our families when these programs become available

    -Neurodiverse Hangout Group, ages 11-18

-IDD Adult Health & Wellness Program

-IDD Family Play Group, ages 0-10
